In the middle of the nineteenth century, was built a new road that connected with the north of the Pyrenees. This road could provide a hypothetical invasion from France, so it was decided to defend the route with some fortifications. In 1877, was drafted the proposed two towers for riflemen, one of which survives at the foot of the existing highway N-330 and we can admire here, in this panorama. The action undertaken by the residents recently blocked his transfer to a completely different environment and allowed its recent restoration. This is a construction of elliptical plant and an a medieval look, that is defended with moat. It has four floors, with capacity for 25 men, took cooking, nursing, fourth officer, and dungeon.
